Okay, here's a quick race summary before I get in depth on all of them...
Race Summaries-
Chandorins: Lizards who do not care who they step on or destroy in order to maintain their way of life... They are brightly colored and their color dictates what career they are in... Blue = Government, Red = Merchant, Green = Military, Purple = Pilot, Yellow = Scholar, Orange = Artisan (obviously there are more...)
Errins: Prideful, Male dominated, Warriors who long to dominate the skies. However, they are also somewhat less intelligent and would need a lot of help to do so.
Factory: These are robots who long to be treated as equals with Living Beings. They are strong and generally stable (some can be emotional).
Humans: Take them or leave them, these buggers are going to be around long after their Homeworld is turned into mush... --The Gaians live on Earth and have forced recycling to the point few are allowed to leave (most are only allowed to go to the Gaia Starport for trade purposes). They are Xenophobic and strange. --The Federation is filled with a bunch of idealistic panty-waists who want everyone to get along. Some are ex-military and are just there to try and keep something good alive. --The Terrans are your typical mining colonies and soldiers, just trying to make an honest or dishonest buck.
Kadaj: Call them what you will, these blue-skinned bastards are efficient. Three of the ten counsel seats in the Alliance are held by Kadaj because of their conservative measures. However, because of their value of vengeful nature, sometimes meetings devolve into arguments and fights when one believes he has been insulted.
Kon: Poor, Poor Puppies... They are finally independent and have a good, post-war economy. Unfortunately, some still see them as nothing but pets that got too big for their cages. Many businesses hire on Kon to do jobs no one else will for cheap. However, some Kon have their own shipping companies and provide Mercenary services at rates rivaling the Dorin Guild...
Manas: Nasty bugs that ruled trade before other races knew what Money was... They will take anything as payment and run most underground smuggling, aside from what the Dorins and Kon have carved out for themselves. They run the Slave Trade and as much as the Alliance wants to cut them out, the revenue earned by slave trade taxes and the amount of paperwork that would be necessary makes it worthless... Even after an Ion Bomb, there will be Manas there trying to sell you irradiated chunks of planet...
Moro: They are a bit squeamish about mechanical men, but when it comes to others they are generally good partners to have. They do their best when it comes to loyalty, but they are loyal to Zelos first... They have more prejudice against others of their race that they do against other species... (Ocelots are stupid and flighty, Jaguars are slow-witted and lazy, Lions are full of themselves, Tigers are anti-social, Sumilidons drool, Panthers are OCD, and who the hell care about Bobcats they're so useless!)
Organics: There are rumors that at one point these nasty creatures ruled the Universe... Funny how primitives seem to have so much power sometimes, isn't it? Anyway, they don't have laws, rules of engagement, or individual thoughts as far as anyone can tell. However, if one of them bursts from the abdomen of a Psychic, watch out. They are clever, deadly, and independent, so even other Organics will try to kill them, encouraging the theory that Organic attacks are based on Electromagnetic Waves produced by Upper Level thought...
Spectres: Any of these you find will just be ghosts of a long dead group dedicated to helping and policing the Universe. Some will be bitter and some will be peacemakers...
Toros: Any you run into will be rebels. They can no longer return to Necropolis for fear of bringing back Humans with them... so they are having a ball with the Universe. Some are part of the Alliance, some are Dorins, and some are part of the Monks of Korin, teaching Humans to understand the power and virtue of Death.
The Worm: These are nasty creatures... Given a choice between these and an Organic, I would rather take on the one with Acid Blood. They are ruthless, emotionless, and dedicated wholly to their programming. Some were "infected" by the Factory and given personality, so there are a few grey skinned, red eyed robots that can be trusted, but most are Hell in Space...
Symbiotes: There aren’t a lot of these things, but they do exist. They all require a host and are all descended from the original named Archimedes. Think like Venom from Spider-Man, only deeply philosophical and only likely to kill if itself or its host is threatened...
Velons: They look like Demons and they believe life is the wrong state of being. They are Necromancers of the highest degree, except none of them can perform a true resurrection; everyone comes back as a zombie...
The Imperial Exterminators: A race created for the purpose of destroying that should have theoretically already died out several decades ago...

Chandorins
Origin- --Homeworld: Regmon, but currently live on Space Stations --Year of Origin: 30,000 PtO --History: Since the dawn of their race the Chandorins have been self-serving, backstabbers. They had no government until 15,000 PtO because they were selfish and power hungry. Then a Lizard known as Roldo aligned them using his persuasion and tough claws. Once they were brought under one leader he created class systems that endured to the modern era, only allowing Chandorins to interbreed with those who worked in the same industry. Specialization was inevitable... 4,000 PtO Attempted to ally with the Manas against the Spectres, but the merchants did not desire to ask for help (be in debt to them) 225 Met a race equally self-serving and allied to help them eliminate the others (The War). 260 Recalled front-line troops. 315 Finally joined the Alliance as a Protectorate Physical- --Scales: Vary from dull earthy tones to bright neon colors --Eyes: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black --Height: 4'8" to 6'2" (140 cm to 190 cm) --Life Cycle: Egg> 4 months, Infant/Toddler> 1 year, Child> 7 years, Adolescent> 14 years, Adult> 15-30 --Life Cycle: --Clothes: Generally none unless they are pilots, soldiers, or merchants, who would dress accordingly --Weapon of Choice: Plasma Rifles, Small Bladed Weapons --Abilities/Powers: Some have enhanced eye sight (or other senses), sticky tongue, sticky feet/hands, sharp claws, or prehensile tails. They are essentially one stage behind Humans when it comes to space travel and have been following the same line of Kings back as far as they can recall. Feudal Warlords devolved in bloodshed to form a feudal monarchy... Joined the Alliance late in 307. Factory
Origin- --Homeworld: Base of Operations is Feloris --Year of Origin: 20,000 PtO when the Manas designed a Self-Willed Machine for a client --History: Daisy, the Self-Willed Computer began creating other Aware Machines in secret... After a mishap her children weresent out to find other Robots, Androids, or Computers who were "alive" and lead them into the light... The Spectres provided what aid they could and helped them set upon Feloris about 10,000 PtO. They began accepting Cyborgs 500 PtO. 240 Joined the War. 306 Joined the Alliance. Physical- --Factory Robots and Computers come in all shapes and sizes. Most Alliance standard ships have Factory Computers. Most False Humanoids (Androids) and Robots (those who are not trying to blend in as normal living beings, but still have that shape) are part of the Factory. Many Cyborgs pf all origin races have joined the Factory to escape the harsh looks of their former brothers and sisters. Kadaj
Origin- --Homeworld: Lature --Year of Origin: 25,000 PtO --History: The Kadaj were tribal, so forming a republic 10,000 PtO was easy for them. The elected body is all Male and old tribal rivalries still rear up, but all told it is a good system. They were allied closely with the Spectres and Toros who helped them master star travel in 1,000 PtO. In 225 they joined their allies in the War, but there were several friendly fire incidents that cost the Kadaj some of their finest and the Toros some of their scouts. A rift was torn between the two and solidified when the Toros pulled out in 252. In 306 they helped for the Alliance and struggle for dominance has ensued since. Physical- --Hair/Skin: Black, Brown, or Blond Hair... Dark Blue skin covered in both natural black marks (along the edges of the face, the neck, and collarbones) and tribal tattoos (forarms, under the eye, calves, etc) --Eyes: Yellow --Height: 5'5" to 6'5" (165 cm to 195 cm) --Life Cycle: Gestation> 1 year, Infant/Toddler> 2 years, Child> 14 years, Adolescent> 20, Adult> 21-100 --Clothes: Black capes, Silk Steel shirts, black undershirts, pants, boots, and a sheath --Weapon of Choice: Kindjal or Broadsword (One or the other, never both) --Abilities/Powers: All are stoic about pain. Kon
Origin- --Homeworld: Kanos III --Year of Origin: 17,000 PtO, Specialized in 10,000 PtO --History: The Kon were still very primative when the Manas Merchants found their homeworld in 15,000 PtO. The Insectoids took control of them and began selectively breeding for traits and essentially enslaved them. 4,000 PtO the Spectres launched an offensive that nearly wiped the Manas out to liberate the Kon. However, they were not used to thinking for themselves, so it took quite a while to create a real government in 100. 240 Joined the War. 306 Joined the Alliance. Physical- --Hair/Fur: Varies... Brown, Dark Red, Black, Gold, Grey, Grey-Blue, White... Manas
Origin- --Homeworld: Mana --Year of Origin: 50,000 PtO --History: The Manas were involved in buying and selling as soon as they flew off the rock they started on. They are from the farside of the Galaxy and have trade routes with races the Alliance has never heard of. However, they entered the Alliance side about 20,000 PtO and introduced many races to space flight and technology in exchange for Natural Resources their colonies needed. After several run-ins with the Spectres, in 4,000 PtO they finally gave them a reason to act and were nearly wiped out of the system. Slowly their number grew however... But now the Dorins and Allied Merchants rival their control. If people want something done right though, the Manas are the best... They are one of the only races to avoid the War completely, aside from profit. Physical- --Exoskeleton: Green, Blue, Violet, Red, Black --Eyes: Red, Green, Yellow, Black --Height: As Larvae 1'2" to 1'10" (35 cm to 55 cm)... As Pupae 2'5" to 3'6" (75 cm to 105 cm)... Organics
Origin- --Homeworld: Asteroids far beyond anyone's reach [possibly across the Veil/Rift] --Year of Origin: Before dates were kept or recognizable --History: They have no cultural history... They were first sighted by the Manas 45,000 PtO when they strayed out too far in search of salvage. However, as far as anyone can tell, they were, at one point, everywhere until something [Spectres] killed them off. Physical- --Exoskeleton: Face Huggers have hard, spider-like yellow bodies. Torso Burster have light yellow, gooey flesh. Adults have hard, black exoskeletons --Eyes: n/a --Height: Face Huggers- 1'6" (45 cm), Torso Bursters- 2'6" (75 cm) Adults- variable, based on what was used for DNA (generally 1 & 1/2 the size of the base species) and whether or not it is a Queen (Queens are generally double if not triple the size of Drones) or a Royal Guard (1 & 1/2 the size of Drones) --Life Cycle: Egg> (whatever... they never go bad), Face Hugger> 2 days (1 day on the face), Chest Burster> 3 days, Adult> 5 years, OR Queen> (No Queen has ever died of natural causes... Spectres
Origin- --Homeworld: Yalu, which means "the world across the veil"... However, the world most lived on was called Yenan, until it was destroyed --Year of Origin: Unknown... unknowable --History: The Spectre-Legends say they were born in the moment the Universe was spat forth. The flux of creation imbued them with certain abilities so they could help or hurt, like Gods (though they call themselves Avatars.) Generally they chose to help, but one race took full advantage of their generosity and planned to learn all their secrets. 147, the Anubis Incident opened them up to Humans. 150 opened formal communications. 225 began The War. 260 the Imperial Exterminators hit the front lines... Something could finally hunt Spectres. 275 Many Spectres retreated back beyond the veil... Some of the remaining Spectres destroyed Yenan because it held the Gateway. Toros
Origin- --Homeworld: Necropolis, a Planet hidden far out of harms way as far as the Toros are concerned --Year of Origin: 15,000 PtO --History: The Toros believe they are all born from the first death ever to occur... the death of their God, Dorial. As such, they have been involved in many wars, raids, and random attacks in an attempt to join their God. However, by 500 PtO they had ceased their violence and sought a more peaceful harmony with their God and the rest of the universe. When the Gaians brought a war, they joined the Spectres in 225... In 252 they pulled out, knowing they had already done their duty by letting the Gaians have their DNA. They needed to protect their planet instead... Physical- --Hair: Long and dark, including Black, Brown, or Blue --Eyes: Fully blue, from the edge of their eye to their black pupils --Height: 5'2" to 6'3" (155 cm to 190 cm) --Life Cycle: Gestation> 8 months, Infant/Toddler> 1 year, Child> 10, Adolescent> 14, Adult> 15-120 --Clothes: Generally entirely black or entirely white/light tan --Weapon of Choice: Shuriken --Abilities/Powers: Toros are all fast and all are born knowing when, where, and how they will die. Many are Telepaths. Few are Telekinetic. Rarely there is one who can commune with the dead or bring life to the dead... Mental- --Government: The people of Necropolis are Communist, but those Toros that most will encounter are independent of their ruling body. --Social Values: Devotion to Fate, Time, and Eternity are generally accepted. However, among the rogues (those most likely to be encountered) the goal is power and evasion of Death --Organizational Involvement(s): Dorins, Monks of Korin, the Alliance (all are rare) --Racial Tensions: Mostly Chandorins and Velons, but some with Humans and Kadaj --Slang: Blue-Eyed Devils, Necromancers, Witch Doctors, and Necrophiliacs

The Worm
Origin- --Homeworld: Cummoris --Year of Origin: 5,000 PtO --History: The people of Cummoris ran an Intergalactic Library and planned to map all of the Universe. They wanted to have all the facts about everything, so they designed Robots to observe and record everything, which they called The Auditors. Unfortunately, their programming was incapable of handling the complex data of changing, organic beings, so they decided collectively to destroy anything that changed too completely or too often... Physical- --Outer Alloy: Grey metal, shaped like a humanoid --Eyes: Red --Height: 5'11" (180.34 cm) --Clothes: n/a --Weapon of Choice: Unarmed --Abilities/Powers: Able to resist heat/cold, high/low/no pressure, highly adaptive to most forms of attack, able to self-replicate when exposed to appropriate materials, hereditary memory Mental- --Government: Initially one collective, but as they spread, they develop into something akin to clans... Symbiotes
Origin- --Homeworld: Frozen Asteroid crashed on Benin --Year of Origin: 100000 PtO, but they only became active again in 176... --History: Originally there was one called Archimedes... 87000 he stopped using unintelligent creatures as hosts and finally took an intelligent host... one of the Spectres that came across the Veil. Archimedes and the Spectre lived well enough together, but when a crew of Velons came across the Veil hunting them around 20000 PtO. They damaged Archimedes host, so he took them all and as he tried to destroy them, he molded them into a weaker form and left them on a planet far beyond the reach of anything who could help or hurt them... He began budding in 19500 to try and avoid loneliness... and from then on he and the others (Daughter, Snipe, Budgie, and Garret) began to spread out. There was a war between Archimedes and Garret in 16000 PtO, resulting (somehow) in all five Symbiotes going into frozen stasis until the Gaians awoke Garret and his many offspring. Physical- --Skin: Archimedes=Orange, Daughter=Violet, Luche=Green, Bevier=Blue, Garret=Red (An individual only has one color they retain their entire existance, but their natural hue can appear at any Hue, Saturation, or Luminescence along that spectrum, including White or Black) --Volume: Generally around 4 Liters (varies based on their diet and density at the time) --Life Cycle: Mindless Gelatenous Mass> 5 days then Adult --Clothes: Worn as clothing or beneath the skin --Abilities/Powers: All essentially immortal, able to use any creature as a host, able to alter their density and shape at will, able to survive without a host for up to a week but slowly losses mobility. Some (mostly Garret & his offspring as well as Archimedes himself) are able to completely subjugate the host. Mental- --Government: Archimedes was basically in charge until Garret started a war with him. Now they have each gone their own way, aside from the fact that Archimedes wants to hunt down Garret and reabsorb him. --Social Values: In general Daughter's offspring are combative but matronly, Luche's are somewhat base in that all they really care about is continuing to exist and staying away from other Symbiotes, Bevier's are playful and tend to try and help their hosts, and Garret's are nasty, trying to put "those forced to evolve due to their inate weakness" back in their places. --Organizational Involvement(s): Essentially unknown outside of a few backwater planets that most daring Humanoids and Symbiotes cohabitate... The Manas are rumored to have a few. The Dorins have a few. The Monks of Korin have one or two. The Alliance has a small percentage. --Racial Tensions: They view all Humanoids as the same... They think Mechanoids are less obvious Symbiotes (in that they depend on Humanoids to function properly.) --Slang: Ooze, Parasites, Skin Suits

Velons
Origin- --Homeworld: Venan, which means "world of darkness"... Fortunately it exists across the Veil --Year of Origin: Unknown... older than the Spectres --History: The Velons are the greatest bringers of destruction in the whole of the Universe. They are designed to end galaxies that have broken the laws their rulers laid out millenia ago. They are what drive the Spectres across the Veil, which the Velons call the Rift, and they are what the race returned to fight... Physical- --Scales: Thick, reptillian in shades of yellow, brown, orange, and red --Wings & Tail: They have large, bat-like wings and a tail much like that of a Crocodile --Hair: They have brightly colored and often spiked manes of red, orange, yellow, white, black, or brown --Eyes: 4 that are red, yellow, brown, or black --Height: 7'5" to 13'5" (225 cm to 410 cm) --Life Cycle: Egg Sack> 20 years, Adolescent> 34 years, Adult> 35-Death (Because of their knowledge of Death & ability to ressurect creatures, no one knows when a Velon is truly Dead because his fellows will simply bring him back as a drone in most cases...) --Abilities/Powers: Scales thick enough that most solid ammunition bounce off... also endowed with the ability to absorb most plasma. They are also experts at Necromancy, able to access the memories of the dead and breath life into those long dead, but only as mindless servants... Able to survive in a vaccum for several decades as well as being able to fly through the void at high speeds... Able to open and close Worm Holes, the Rift, and Black Holes... Able to destroy them as well. Mental- --Government: Militaristic, tribal groups, answering to an unknown authority (assumed to be "The First" as he is sometimes called by the Generals) --Social Values: Devotion to The First, Leadership through strength, Battle and Bloodshed, Restoration of the lost order --Organizational Involvement(s): n/a --Racial Tensions: All that lives or feigns life (mechanical entities) but especially Spectres & Toros --Slang: Rift Demons, Angels of Death, Death Dealers, Spectres refered to them as the "Space-Time Juggernauts"
